The Champion 800-RD, Random semi-automatic top and bottom belt drive case sealer requires an operator to hold the carton flaps closed before presenting to the machine.

The 800-RD will automatically adjust to the size of the carton being presented to it. This machine is meant to be used in applications where every box being presented to the machine is a different size than the one before.

The Champion 800-RD has some unique features. It is the only random taper on the market that allows you to switch to different settings based on your particular application. If your boxes are random, but close in height than you can choose the memory random setting to increase throughput speed. If your boxes are random, but have a large variation in height you can choose the middle home position random setting to increase throughput speed. Finally, you can lock the random machine in to a uniform position if you have a run of uniform size boxes. This action is also intended to help increase throughput speed based on how your application presents itself.

The 800-RD is a best when the application has boxes that are taller than they are long. Threading of the Champion 502 or 503 tape head is very simple and the head is designed to be virtually maintenance free. The 800-RD comes complete with locking casters.
